Vlad is an experienced, competent and qualified Captain who has been sailing in the Greek waters for more than 10 years now. He first started sailing in the Adriatic Sea and slowly made his way around the Mediterranean. He fell in love with the Greek Islands, the Greek hospitality and the variety and beauty of the sailing areas one can explore. One of the reasons he chose Greece as his new home!

Chef Raia loves cooking and the adventure that comes along when sailing the Greek Islands. She is an energetic, passionate and easily adaptable person with more than 10 years of experience in the charter industry on various vessels. She is a team player, hard-working and enjoys sailing in general! Her guests will be amazed by the delicious creations she prepares all day long as well as by her incredible professionalism and care she shows for her guests during a luxury yacht vacation!

Captain: Michail Chatzikonstantinou

Michalis has served in the Navy for 26 years were he spent his time aboard ships such as destroyers, navy vessels, minesweepers, and frigates as an electrician, diver, and EOD. Throughout these years, he has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in areas requiring self-discipline, initiative, obedience, and determination while making crucial decisions. Since 2011, he has sailed as a delivery captain and a charter captain for many different companies sailing monohulls, catamarans, and motor yachts of up to 75 ft!

In addition, he has worked as a diving and first aid instructor at various diving centers/schools from 2014 to 2016.
He is enthusiastic and excited to be working on Kalimar, bringing his experience to new levels and providing a wonderful sailing experience to his guests! He is kind, hard working and professional.

Evangelos was born in a village outside of Korinthos. At the young age of 17, he decided to pursue a career in cooking and has never looked back since! At the beginning of his career, he met and trained under the famous Greek chef Ilias Kokkoris. After working for 8 years both in Greece and abroad, his passion for Italian cuisine prevailed. Evangelos has a strong affinity for the sea and sailing. His goal is to convey his love for cooking through his dishes and to transport his guests to different flavorful worlds. Evangelos is fluent in both Greek and English.

Captain: Christos Spanos
Christos was born in 1990 and is a father of 2 from Thessaloniki in the north of Greece. After spending 8 years working as an engineer, his love of the islands and sea, led him into hospitality and the yachting world.

Starting in 2015, Christos began increasing his sailing knowledge and experience by joining GLM Santorini Sailing company as a crew member on daily charters, also worked on a trimaran Orma 60 as deckhand, where he gained most of his experience in sailing. After a few seasons, he began as a skipper for weekly monohull charters in Naxos. In 2019, he was back in Santorini working as a skipper for catamaran day charters.

He’s excited to be on Flo and showing guests the gorgeous islands and hidden gems of Greece!

Chef: Ioanna Kalafati

She started working in the yachting industry on different kinds of sailing vessels in the Aegean Sea. She began working as a hostess but as she had a love for cooking she attended chef school to be able to follow her dream. She is in love with the sea and anything to do with it, she is kind and polite with her guests onboard always trying to keep the service at high standards.
She is hard-working, always thrives for perfection,
Jo loves to cook and to try new things in the kitchen and is happy to be able to combine her work with her two passions, cooking and sailing!
She speaks Greek and English.

Deckhand: George Papadopoulos

George has just recently begun his “career” in the yachting sector, but he is eager to learn and absorb everything he can about sailing! He has several years of experience as a professional diver, so he is quite knowledgeable about the seas. Also, George holds a motor yacht license. He is a cheerful, optimistic, organized, and outgoing individual who enjoys making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. George speaks Greek and English.

Captain – Vasiliki Paziana

Vasiliki has an RYA Yacht Master Ocean. She holds, among others, a speedboat operator license, PADI Open Water Diving, RYA A’ Aids Certificate, and has attended Rescuing school (German Red Cross). She graduated from the University of Ioannina, Greece, and holds a BSc in Philosophy Education & Psychology, a certification in Greek sign language, and Braille. Vasiliki can communicate in English and Greek. She started her career as a skipper in 2015 and since then has sailed in all Greek areas; Sporades, Ionian, Cyclades, and the Dodecanese on sailing monohulls and catamarans counting till now 35,500 nm from which more than 15,500 are Ocean. A remarkable time in her career was in 2019 when she crosses the Southern Oceans Passage through Cape Horn. Vasiliki In her free time, she likes traveling, skiing or hiking, diving, Arts & crafts, and offering her services as a Volunteer in various organizations.

Cook/Host – Antony Pazianas

Even though Antony has a technical background in natural gas installations and maintenance, his passion for cooking, the sea and sailing was stronger than his studies and he finally decided to make his hobby bis profession. He was born in Larissa in 1993 and since his childhood, he has sailed with his father, who is a fisherman, on their family boat around the Greek islands. He was also helping his family with the seafood shop from a very young age and came to love cooking, creating new dishes, and the service sector in general. All his older siblings are professional captains, so it was natural to him to search for job opportunities onboard. He has worked in many different restaurants and is now taking the opportunity to raise his cooking abilities to the next level by going to chef school. Antony is warmhearted with a great sense of humor, a team player when it comes to sailing, and he loves to surprise his guests with his culinary creations! He is very excited to be on board and welcome guests to experience Greece to the fullest! He speaks Greek and English.

Jordan Arzoglou – Captain

Jordan is from Greece and was born in 1998. He attended Leonteios Private French-Hellenic High School and is very proficient in both English and French. After graduation, he followed his passion for the sea into the yachting industry. He received his licensing and immediately started on yachts- first as a deckhand and soon after as a skipper. For the past 4 years he has been working successfully as charter captain in different catamarans from 40-56 ft showing his guests Greek hospitality and providing them safe and fun holidays!

Jordan is eager to welcome his guests to beautiful Greece and show them the stunning islands . In his free time, Jordan loves open sea sailing, swimming, free diving, spearfishing, SCUBA diving, kayaking, listening to music, and hiking.

He is a highly skilled chef offering a wide range of tastes who is passionate about creating unique and tasteful dishes using fresh, local ingredients. He is also able to cater to specific dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring that all guests are satisfied with their meals. Giannis has a warm and friendly personality with a great sense of humor, and he enjoys interacting with guests. He is native in both Greek and English.

Steward/Deckhand: Matrona Gkini

Matrona was born on the gorgeous Greek island of Chios, so she has a long history with the sea.
She has completed her studies at the Tourism and Maritime Academy and will begin her yachting career upon graduation. Since 2018, Matrona has been aboard a variety of yachts. She is a highly active person who enjoys water sports, swimming, and hiking. She is eager to assist and provides exceptional service to her guests, making their time on board an unforgettable experience!

S/Y NOMAD is 2019 built Lagoon 52. With its diamond-shaped vertical bows, beveled hulls, its as if levitated deckhouse and tall rig, NOMAD is no ordinary catamaran, but its originality goes a great deal further than just its “outer” appearance, or even its interior layout. Superior in terms of elegance, comfort, safety, user friendliness and, it goes without saying, performance under sail.

LUXURIOUS AND CONTEMPORARY with soft shades for a harmonious interior continuous horizontal and fluent lines give the interior open and generous spaces continuity between exterior and interior life, a slender exterior design for a boat with a strong character. The saloon encompasses the lounge and dining table to starboard, a large galley in U shape on port side the chart table in the middle, facing out to sea, the “U” galley is equipped with large hot plates, large work space and plenty of storage the circulation in the salon is optimized, between the lounge and the galley, all the cabins have large double beds, storage space in keeping with the offshore sailing program of the boat and, of course, an en-suite bathroom with separate shower, the cabins have incomparable natural lighting thanks to the fixed hull windows, together with excellent ventilation thanks to the deck hatches and portholes that open out to the hull-side or to the cockpit.

Ilias is from Mykonos and began in the yachting world in 2013- first on a 30 foot RIB and then onto various sailing yachts throughout his career. He holds his Offshore Sailing Certificate from Nautical Athletic Club of Voula and his RYA GMDSS Short Range certification.
He is energetic and easy-going along with being very motivated – all of which he brings to Nomad II to offer guests an exceptional holiday. He is passionate about sailing and introducing guests to the wonders of Greece and the gorgeous Aegean waters. Along with sailing, he loves sports of all kinds and enjoys diving, fishing, and traveling.

Konstantinos was born in 1988. He started his cooking career at the age of 25 attending the school of tourism and graduating as a chef. Right after his graduation, he started working in several hotels and restaurants in Greece and abroad. In 2021, he came back to Greece, and started working as an A’ Chef in several restaurants in Athens. He has many years of experience and has attended several seminars about fine dining and different cuisines. His purpose is to convey his passion for cooking in his dishes and to travel his guests to different culinary worlds. He loves Mediterranean cuisine and always tries to create new food combinations and spoil his guests. Konstantinos speaks Greek and English, and he is also fluent in Spanish.

Stewardess: Zoi Gkretsi

Zoi is from Athens, Greece, and studied in different countries throughout Europe. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Greek Philology from the University of Crete in Rethimno, Greece, and a second Bachelor’s Degree in European Literature from Universidad del Pais Vasco in Vitoria, Spain. And, with a Master’s Degree in Modern Greek Studies, Zoi is the perfect person to cruise within the Greek Islands!
With a love of the water and wanting to work on yachts, she became certificated at the Nautical Club of Tzitzifies Kallithea Offshore Sailing School. She combines her love of sailing, her studies, and her passion for Mediterranean cooking into one and brings this fabulous mix to Nomad II When she is not sailing, she loves hiking, yoga, and photography. Zoi is looking forward to welcoming guests onto Nomad II this season and showing them the beauty of Greece!

He is also a professional sailing athlete, participating to Nationals, Europeans and Worlds Championships
Best results 5th in World Youth Sailing Championship 2007 & 8th in World Men’s Championship 2008.

Capable of meeting the needs of any guest and exceeding their expectations. Nonetheless, as a highly determined mariner who adapts with diligence and is constantly eager to accept growth comments, he seeks to enhance his abilities and advance to a higher rank.

Chef: Vasilis Tsito
Vasilis, born in 1994, grew up in Athens and is from a Greek/Albanian family. He attended university for electrical engineering and worked in that field once he graduated. With a passion for cooking, he decided to pursue his early childhood dream of becoming a chef. His studies in gastronomy began in 2017. After completing his degree in 2019, he has been working alongside many well-accomplished chefs in Greece. Vasilis specializes in seafood and loves creating exceptional dishes.

Vasilis’ gastronomy is fresh with a simple yet elegant style that showcases the incredible food and his great precision and detail. In his free time, Vasilis enjoys garden planning and creating new dishes. Working onboard Madinina, he combines his love for seafood and cooking, with his adventurous side of living life on the sea.

Deckhand: Stefanos Moisoglou

Stefanos has a Diploma in Shipping, but his love for nature and the sea where stronger than the studies he chose. Stefanos is a teacher of all kinds of Water Sports, Scuba Diving, and Snowboard and he is the owner of a Motorboat and Sailing license. Last year he was driving fast ribs for daily excursions, and he has also delivered various boats in the past few years. Stefanos is an extremely lively and active individual. He is responsible, diligent, and kind. He speaks English and Greek and, along with the rest of Madinina’s crew, will do everything possible to provide his guests the most memorable sailing experience!

Born in 1971, Jiorgos began his sailing career when he was only 9 years old racing lasers, optimists and 4.70s.
He became a skipper when he was around 19 years old. Since then, he has sailed extensively the Mediterranean Sea, the Bahamas, Caribbean, the west coast of Africa, Pacific coast of Central America, and has crossed the Atlantic Ocean 12 times.
In 2001, he was decorated with the first- class medal of Honor by the Minister of Merchant Marine for his assisting role in the rescue mission of the passengers of the ferry boat Samina.
Today, he is an extremely well-experienced sailing and motor Yacht captain. He is very adaptable, easy-going and sociable and will make your sailing vacation the trip of your life time with his adventure stories and his helpful attitude! Chef: Alekos Kontipanos
Alekos was born in 1975 in Athens. He has been working in the yachting industry already 20 years on private and charter yachts, sailing and motor yachts. He is a trained chef, creating wonderful dishes every day for his clients, amazing them with interesting flavors, combinations and presentations! He is very capable, adaptable and not only as a chef! But also in maintaining the yacht and helping the captain. He is quiet, hard working, talented and very responsible in his job. He concentrates on Mediterranean cuisine, but he has knowledge of Asian, Italian and French cuisine as well! He speaks Greek, Albanian and English.

Hostess: Emelyn Adupe

Emelyn was born in the Philippines in 1982 and for the last few years she lives in Greece with her family. She is an experienced and skilled stewardess who is dedicated to provide her guests with an exceptional charter experience. Her attention to detail, kind personality, and strong organizational skills make her an invaluable asset to any yacht crew. Emelyn’s commitment to excellence and passion for hospitality make her a pleasure to work with, and guests always feel well taken care of on board. She speaks Filipino and English.

Deckhand: Joel
Joel, 36 years old, has been working in the yachting industry since 2006 for private and charter yachts, mostly motor yachts and luxury vessels. He is a very hard-working individual with an AB rank, and always kind, discreet and attentive to his guests’ needs.
